2023 brought many exciting changes to our school. We welcomed many new students, teachers and staff. We look forward to continuing advancing our school and curriculum together with our supportive parents, board, and faculty in 2024.

Student Fees are:
Shkolla Shqipe $100.00 / Semester for your first child and $50.00 / Semester for your 2nd or 3rd child.
Grupi Arberia $50.00 / Semester

Class begins promptly at 12 pm, please plan to arrive with your child 5-10 minutes before class begins to avoid interruptions. Class will conclude at 1 pm.

Grupi Arbëria, our dance group, meets every other Sunday at 1pm.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could help spread the word among families with children aged 5 through 17 who might be interested in joining our program.

We are so grateful for the sacrifices many of our families make to provide their children with an education in Albanian language and culture. We strongly believe that investing in your child's Albanian cultural heritage is a rewarding endeavor.

We eagerly anticipate working together in cooperation for the benefit of these young learners.

My name is Mimoza Hoxha and I am delighted to be the Principal of Shkolla Shqipe! Shkolla Shqipe has been a big part of my life since 2008, when my 2 daughters and I were part of the first generation of students and teachers. 15 years later, I am so proud to see it getting consistently bigger and better, working to preserve our unique language!

I am excited to apply my many years of experience teaching and working with students to Shkolla Shqipe. I have taught high school in Albania, taught in Montessori school, and I have worked with elementary-aged special needs students. It is a privilege and pleasure to transfer everything I have learned during the years to Shkolla Shqipe, which holds a special place in my heart! I strongly believe that teachers that love to teach create students that love to learn, and through them, the Albanian language, culture, and history will be preserved!

My name is Blerina Musaraj and I am honored to serve Shkolla Shqipe as the Assistant Principal. I am also a proud Shkolla Shqipe parent of Flois & Saranda Musaraj.

It is my absolute passion and pride to be involved and to give my direct contribution to Shkolla Shqipe. It is our community’s mission to elevate the name of Shkolla Shqipe considering the vital role the school plays in preserving our language, rich culture, and history. I look forward to helping shape our next generation of young Albanians!

I am so thrilled to be your childs Albanian Language Teacher. I have worked at Union Ridge School
for 5 years in the Early Childhood Classroom, I also worked at St Nicholas Church for 5 years. I love creating fun and engaging learning opportunities for children. I am looking forward to explore the wonderful lessons in Albanian language with your child!

Albana Romacka

I was born and raised in Korce, Albania. I completed my studies at “Fan Noli” University, Korce. Since then, I worked as a elementary school teacher in Zemblak, Korce.
I came to the States back in 2004, working in various fields.
Currently, I work as a paraprofessional teacher working closely with autistic and down syndrome children. I also work as supervisor for Continuing Education program at College of Dupage. I have two daughters and my hobby is cooking.

I completed my Bachelor's and Master's degree at Tirana University, Albania and graduated as a Geography teacher. I have 6 years of experience as a teacher. I describe myself as a dedicated, energetic and loving teacher. Teaching is my profession and I do it with the greatest pleasure. Looking forward to applying my skills and contributing to high-quality education at Shkolla Shqipe. Also, I love to cook,listen music and spend free time with my family.

I am more than happy to be part of the team of Shkolla Shqipe. I have a 6 year's old girl Kaysee who also attends this school as well.I have been teaching preschoolers for almost 12 years, and I would love to teach our own beautiful and unique language to our children. I will do my best to inscribe this language in the minds of these children and transmit it to future generations.
